SIGGRAPH 2006
As part of Hacking Days we paid a visit to SIGGRAPH 2006. I found interesting stuff regarding the latest developments in computer graphics. There were some very impressive examples of holographics, visual effects, an impressive device using light synchronization with movement rotation to create different effects in a small house, magnetic fluids, a screen with a globe showing the real-time queries from Google by country, language and frequency. There was a bunch of stuff on sensors, and user interfaces including 3D glasses, and virtual reality devices like gloves and headsets.
