I have read your article and i find it equal parts fascinating and disturbing. Myself, not being a college graduate let alone a trained theoretical phicisist have innumerable questions. I am not a "spiritual person." But i have recently had an experience, NOT a drug induced one.
I experienced the "rebooting" of my mind in a waking state. I mean rebooting in the most literal sense of the word! In your article it is supposed "If the universe is a computer the human mind must also be."
This was to date the most profound event in my life. So much so that it leads me to google things, instinctualy. Such as: "Is the universe a computer."

I have confessed i understand little if anything about the technical nature of your article's content. I believe I have actually experienced on a personal level the " mind as a computer." As terrifying as my experience was, the investigation of the subject consumes much of my time. I am not sure what, if anything I am asking of you. With the possible exception of whether you have heard of similar claims.

My search has led me in many directions. My belief in reason must have led me ultimately to you.
